Coaching for Disaster & Emergency Professionals
I also provide tailored one-on-one coaching for professionals working in Australia’s disaster and emergency sector. I understand the challenges of this work and ‘supporting the supporters’ has been a passion of mine for many years. My Masters research examined vicarious posttraumatic growth in health care professionals, some of whom were assisting disaster affected communities. Ever since I have been motivated to find innovative ways to preserve and enhance wellbeing in our disaster workforce as I believe everybody has the right to not only remain well, but to enhance their wellbeing.
