People find meaning, purpose and fulfilment in life in different ways. For many, a professional work role is an important part of this as it provides focus, increases motivation and, when goals are accomplished, brings a sense of achievement. Traditionally, the workplace has also been where people connect and form relationships with others.
During the last two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused much disruption to daily life. Long established work routines have changed and staff are reporting tiredness, reduced motivation, and concerns for their future. It is now more important than ever for organisations to support their workforce by striving to create a mentally healthy workplace.
