While most people do recover successfully from disaster, it can sometimes be a far more challenging and complex journey than expected. And with disasters becoming more frequent, turning attention to preparedness is increasingly important.
With over 15 years’ experience, I work in close partnership with disaster and emergency affected community members, often over a number of years. My approach is one of calm, warmth, compassion, and curiosity. By walking your journey with you, I provide support, assistance and guidance.
I am available for involvement in:
- Coordinated community information sessions
- Guided small and large group conversations
- Small group debriefs
- Community consultation about preparedness and recovery
- Psychological First Aid (PFA) training
