While most people do recover successfully from a natural disaster, it can sometimes be a far more challenging and complex journey than expected. For some, certain aspects of life are unfortunately never the same.
With over a decade’s experience, I help communities recognise that hidden within adversity are opportunities for adaptation, recovery and growth. I work in close partnership with disaster and emergency affected community members, often over a number of years, by walking their journey with them and providing support, assistance and guidance.
I am available for involvement in:
- Coordinated community information sessions
- Guided small and large group conversations
- Community consultation about preparedness and recovery
- Small group debriefs
