  • The inherent challenges of natural disaster and other crises present communities and first responders with what can seem like an overwhelming experience. David facilitates training in Psychological First Aid as well as Understanding the Recovery Cycle, the aim of which is to better equip those who tend to the needs of survivors. David is also an advocate of Resilience Building and Preparedness as he holds the view that people have an inherent capacity to be resilient and to grow, even when faced with great adversity.

  • During 2016, David has been working on a number of innovative preparedness projects with Victorian government. These projects are being designed to assist at risk community members and first responders to better prepare for events such as natural disaster and terrorism. The programs will be piloted during 2017 and 2018.
